Information submitted about a club, event, range, vendor, maker, or other organization may be published as part of the public directory when appropriate.
Personal contact information submitted solely for communication with Second Arrow will not normally be displayed publicly unless you specifically provide or authorize it as public business or organizational contact information.
3. Tips, Flyers, and Screenshots
Second Arrow allows users to send links, flyers, screenshots, and similar material to help us identify traditional archery resources.
Images submitted through the Tip feature are intended for internal review and verification and are not automatically published publicly.
We may use information contained in submitted materials to create, correct, verify, or enrich directory records.
4. Email Alerts and Communications
If you subscribe to Second Arrow newsletters or event alerts, we may use your email address and selected location or state preferences to send those communications.
You may unsubscribe from subscription-based emails using the unsubscribe method included in those messages.
Submitting a tip, correction, claim request, or other inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
We may still send non-marketing communications relating directly to a submission, listing correction, request, security matter, or other interaction you initiated.
5. Analytics and Performance Information
Second Arrow currently uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand site traffic and performance.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to measure website usage without relying on traditional tracking cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
We do not currently use advertising pixels or behavioral advertising systems such as Meta Pixel for cross-site advertising.
If our analytics or advertising practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional notice or consent options.
6. Maps
Second Arrow uses Mapbox to provide maps and location-related features.
When maps are loaded, Mapbox may receive limited technical information necessary to provide its services, such as network, device, session, and request information.
Mapbox's handling of that information is also governed by its own privacy practices.
7. Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate Second Arrow.
These may include providers of:
- Website hosting and infrastructure, such as Vercel
- Database, authentication, and file storage services, such as Supabase
- Email delivery services, such as Resend
- Mapping services, such as Mapbox
- Analytics and performance-monitoring services
- Security, development, and operational tools
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to their respective agreements and privacy practices.
8. Selling or Sharing Personal Information
Second Arrow does not sell personal information.
We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Operate the site through service providers
- Comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests
- Protect the rights, safety, or security of Second Arrow, our users, or others
- Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Complete a merger, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or similar transfer involving Second Arrow, subject to applicable law
9. Public Directory Information
Second Arrow compiles directory information from submissions, publicly available sources, organizational websites, social-media pages, event materials, and other sources.
Information concerning organizations, clubs, ranges, events, or businesses may be displayed publicly.
If you represent an organization and believe a listing is inaccurate, outdated, or should be reviewed, please contact us or use the listing-update tools provided on the site.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Second Arrow, maintain and verify directory records, communicate with users, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights.
Newsletter subscription information may be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to limited records we may retain to honor an unsubscribe request.
Submission and verification records may be retained when they are useful for documenting the source, accuracy, or history of a directory listing.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
However, no website, database, storage system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Your Choices and Requests
You may contact us to request that we:
- Correct personal information about you
- Delete personal information you provided
- Explain what personal information we maintain about you
- Update or review a directory listing

13. Do Not Track and Privacy Signals
Some browsers provide "Do Not Track" signals.
Because there is not a universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, Second Arrow does not currently respond to them in a special manner.
We do not currently use the site for cross-site behavioral advertising or sell personal information.
We will update this section if our tracking practices materially change.
14. Children's Privacy
Second Arrow is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been submitted to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
15. External Websites
Second Arrow contains links to clubs, ranges, vendors, event organizers, social-media pages, registration services, and other third-party websites.
We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Their handling of your information is governed by their own policies.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Second Arrow changes.
